Usage Guidelines
- Best Placement: Place the badge on your "Partners", "About", or "Verified" page rather than sitewide footers to avoid looking like a link scheme
- Keep It Authentic: Do not recolor, crop, remove the link, or edit the owner-verification wording
- Clear Space: Keep at least half the mark's width clear on every side and do not display below the generated size
- User Value: The badge links to your public facility page when it is search-indexable, with the secure verification record retained as a fallback
- Use Generated Sizes: Select one of the tested sizes instead of stretching the artwork
- Revocation: The image URL checks your active token, so a revoked ownership claim stops the badge from rendering after the short cache window
Website builder help
WordPress: use a Custom HTML block. Squarespace: use a Code block. Wix or Webflow: use an Embed/HTML element. Shopify: paste it into the intended theme section such as `footer.liquid`. For raw HTML, paste it directly where the badge should appear. Publish and test the link.
What "Owner-verified" Means
GolfSimIQ accepted the current account's ownership claim for this published listing. The badge does not represent an audit of facility quality, safety, equipment, or operating status.
Verification Checklist:
- Ownership claim approved
- Claim belongs to the current listing owner
- Facility listing remains published and active
Important Notice:
Badge eligibility ends when the ownership claim is revoked, transferred, archived, or the listing is no longer public. The token-aware image prevents a revoked badge from continuing to appear valid.
